Beeswax burns roughly twice as long as toxic paraffin wax and twice as bright. They are hypoallergenic and non-toxic. Trim wick to 1/4 inch prior to lighting and each new lighting to avoid a large flame and smoke. My wicks are all cotton and environmentally friendly but drafts and long wick can create smoke nonetheless. Never leave a candle unattended.
